Natur is the old local name for this grape, and here its made in an ouill (topped up) way, so you get a bright, non oxidative white rather than the classic nutty Jura profile. The vines grow on blue and grey marl soils around Arbois, which bring a clear mineral edge to the wine. Grapes are picked late by hand for full flavour, then given a long, gentle pressing.
