It is a very unique one of a kind furniture. The kilim was originally woven to cover floors or divan (sleeping sitting raised bench). Overtime, parts of the kilim gets damaged and the parts usable recycled by turning them into pillowcases or upholstery as it is done here. it is all 100% hand spun mountain wool and hand woven in the early 20th c.
