The nautical artwork comes from an 1880s childrens travel book, and features a charming sailing ship, breezy banners, and a radiant sun. The lovely little mermaid comes from a 1905 print entitled The Looking Glass of Venus by Sir Edward Burne Jones. We trimmed the entire piece in hand drawn nautilus and scallop shells from a French 1800s sketchbook. We
