Hljóðaklettar '10 At its deepestText on back of card: Hljaklettar (the echoing rocks), is an area of basaltic rock columns and formations situated by the Jkul river and part of the Vatnajkull National Park. The fantastic formations have fired the imagination of Icelanders through the ages and are to be found in the folklore for example the story of the Man and Woman (insert lower right), trolls who lived in the cave across the river until they were one day turned to stone.
