Whittet Higgins AN-22 Retaining Nut High temp and bushingsThe Whittet Higgins N AN series is an inch dimension bearing locknut machined from carbon steel and matched with W series lockwashers to secure, lock, and retain bearings and power transmission assemblies on a threaded shaft. The lockwasher seats against the nut and a tab bends into one of the nut's external slots, delivering numerous locking positions for accurate angular positioning while preventing loosening from vibration, shock, and torque.
