Mont special the grapes rest on theirMont comes from the Montona cru on Quarin hill in Collio, Friuli. The vineyard was planted in 1968, in a cool east facing spot surrounded by forest. It is mainly Tocai Friulano, with small parts of Picolit and Malvasia, giving the wine a clear local identity and a little extra aromatic lift. The grapes spend two days on the skins before spontaneous fermentation and ageing in concrete vats. This gives Mont more texture and depth than a simple white
